As the weeks and months have gone by, we have been delighted to finally start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Restrictions have began to ease significantly as of late. With that, live events have returned. We have kept busy with our Studio and Live Streaming services but we couldn’t be happier to see live events return. Some events are reliant on an in-person audience and while others can continue to Live Stream, it has opened up the doors for so many people to return to work. Lately, we have had the chance to work with some amazing events that we want to update you about.
What Live Events have we been working on?
Over the past few weeks, our Staging & Lighting services have been in particular demand. Most recently, we worked with The Galway Comedy Festival at The Galmont Hotel & Spa to celebrate the #GCF21 Galway Programme Launch. High profile comedians such as Andrew Maxwell, Tom O’Mahony, Sinéad Quinlan & Karl Spain put on an amazing show for those in attendance. The festival will have 45 shows, over 7 days, and 80+ artists! On September 11th Paddy Barnes took on Sir Stevo Timothy in a Wheelchair Boxing spectacle. The event was in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association and we were the co-main sponsor. There is over €40,000 raised so far showing just how powerful Live Events can be. A whole host of personalities took part in their own Wheelchair Boxing match ups including Al Foran & Darren Conway of ‘GIT’ fame. You can still donate if you wish by clicking HERE
Some incredible films were on show at the Galway Film Fleadh recently. We provided a number of services to the team including our LED Screens. Live Events like this one are always extremely enjoyable as it provided some real out of the box thinking by the organisers.
